TOP-UP SERVICES

Managing the prepay reload process is a significant cost for mobile operators. Liquix reload and transaction processing solutions support mutiple sales channels such as web, SMS, periodic, automatic and IVR, by providing the end user with a high degree of convenience.


MONETIZING BASE

Liquix creates possibilities for the operators to monetize their subscriber base through the introduction of our unique booster functionality. As such the Operators will increase their ARPU, leverage retention programmes and enhance the overall usability of the Mobile app's.

ESSENT

Essent is the largest energy company in the Netherlands. Essent provides customers with gas, electricity, heat and energy services. Essent (including its predecessors) has over 90 years experience of generating, trading, transmitting and supplying electricity and has 2.3 million customers for electricity and about 2.0 million for gas.

CHALLENGE

Essent has been looking for a new innovative solution to move their high base of bad payers to a prepay proposition in order to eliminate the risk of bad debt.

SOLUTION

The focus was on the end user, and that they have to be in control during the whole process. As such Liquix has developed and rolled out a full suit of solutions including IVR, SMS, POS, SMS and web reloads. The whole reload process was also supported with a reconciliation and settlement process, reporting and second line support.

RESULT

The project has been perceived as extremely innovative and successful. During the closing stages of the trial the users of the Liquix solution have expressed their unhappiness that the project would be discontinued.

 

 

BASE

BASE Company a 100% subsidiary of Royal KPN and is active in mobile technology in the Belgian market with a market share of 21.2%, predominantly via the brands BASE, BASE Business, digital TV, Internet and fixed telephony via the brand SNOW. Base has some 500 staff and boast more than 3.4 million customers.

CHALLENGE

To provide Base clients with a customized solution fulfilling their needs. In addition they have been looking at a fair business model supported by a reliable and unique solution seeker for their respective prepaid business. The goal was to create a real time reload solution supported by a range of payment types and sales channels.

SOLUTION

Liquix has devolped a customized suite of solutions supporting a variety of sales channels and payment methods. The suit of sales channels included periodic, automatic, SMS, friends & family and Point of Sale, which were focussing on client convenience. In addition the integrated bank system provided for the required flexibility and controls.

RESULT

The result was overwhelming and together we have realized a cost reduction per reload of up to 60%. At the same time the ARPU has increased by approximately 80% and the churn reduced from 14% to 6%.

 

 

AH SLIM ONLY

Albert Heijn is the leading supermarket in The Netherlands with a market share of approximately 30%, who also operate two mobile brands of which one is Albert Heijn Slim Only. The Slim Only brand is focussing on the ever-increasing Smart Device Market.

CHALLENGE

To provide a solution to their respective target market where the client is central, and has the flexibility of prepay at the rates of a post-paid subscription. The client is in control of its own destiny therefore in charge to create the bundle mix best suited for their respective needs.

SOLUTION

In close co-operation with KPN Wholesale a mobile app supporting all the major operating systems such as IOS, Android, Blackberry and Windows has been developed. With the app, the client is in control of creating his own bundles based upon their wishes and respective needs that put him in control of his usage. The client furthermore will be informed of his usage and new promotions real time by push notifications.

RESULT

Exceeding expectations with a higher than expected download rate, the flexibility of the solution and ease of use has contributed to an extremely active base on the app via the various different operating systems.
